I recently bought some Game Boy DMG-01 colored buttons from SakuraRetroModding on Etsy for my Anbernic RG351V and they look amazing!

The method I used to import some old posts into my Mastodon instance didn't support hashtags, so I wrote a quick little script that queries all the statuses from my user in the database, extracts the hashtags from the text, and then updates the tags tables in the database: gist.github.com/c99koder/33b93

Input/Output Error
The SD card I use in my Raspberry Pi finally wore out this week after running non-stop for almost 2.5 years. Managed to move everything safely to a new "endurance" card, hopefully it will last longer!

I was just trying to troll @theskuz with a crazy swing, and somehow ended up getting a hole in one!

Fitbit Sense ⌚️
The Fitbit Ionic I've been wearing for several years got recalled last week, apparently the battery could overheat and burn users. Time for an upgrade!

The Sense feels a lot lighter and more comfortable than the Ionic, but it's going to take a little while to get used to not having any physical buttons.

M5StickC-Plus AeroGarden Monitor

A little experiment with a controller: ultrasonic distance sensor measures water level, and infrared thermometer measures the temperature.

Everything gets sent to Home Assistant via MQTT!

Argon ONE V2
My Raspberry Pi has been in the same dusty old case for a few years now, and the fan recently stopped working. Time for an upgrade!

Weekend Project
Wrote an integration for Home Assistant that scrapes data from a medication reminder app so I can display it in my smart home dashboard.

Community Goal
Spent the evening unloading supplies from fleet carriers in HIP 43670 to Oramus Terminal to help repair the Scriveners Clan's dredger for this week's community goal. Popped over to Oochost PC-C c29-0 for a quick selfie with their ship at the end of the night. Good luck with the repairs, Scriveners Clan!

Scary Citizen
There's a terrifying bug in the new Star Citizen update where NPC body parts don't render, just leaving eyeballs and mouths floating around 😱
